I designed a spacious apartment within a two-family residence, including a large terrace and outdoor furniture concept, defined by clean lines and a calm, neutral palette. The living area features light brown furniture tones complemented by subtle light blue wall elements, adding a refined twist of color while maintaining a timeless aesthetic. In contrast, the private spaces — bedrooms, bathrooms, and guest room — were intentionally designed with a more expressive and luxurious character, reminiscent of a boutique hotel atmosphere, creating a sophisticated balance between understated elegance and distinctive interior moments. The project was brought to life in collaboration with Couchzone Beer GmbH.
Design Development & Collaboration
The project was developed and visualized using Archicad and Thea Renderer, enabling clear communication and photorealistic precision throughout the planning process. The concept was finalized after only two client meetings, reflecting a strong alignment between their vision and my design approach. The clients’ openness to creating something unique made the process particularly enjoyable, and while some bedrooms were designed in darker tones according to their preferences, I balanced the atmosphere with lighter textiles, complementary furniture, and plants to maintain warmth and harmony.
